J. Lance Hitt is an associate attorney at Barbosa Legal. His practice includes real estate transactions, domestic and international tax law, and corporate law. 

Lance assists both domestic and international high-net-worth individuals in real estate transactions. Lance’s practice also includes guiding high net-worth individuals in the areas of tax planning & compliance as well as corporate law and structuring solutions addressing the tax challenges of global wealth.

Lance’s involvement includes advising clients through residential and commercial real estate transactions, providing due diligence, and drafting closing documents. Jack A. Fattal is an Of Counsel attorney with Barbosa Legal and he is a member of the New York State Bar. Jack offers Barbosa Legal’s clientele a unique perspective among practicing attorneys, incorporating both law firm and in-house experience.

Jack had previously worked at Sichenzia Ross Ference Carmel LLP and Anthony, Linder & Cacomanolis, PLLC, prominent corporate & securities law firms. Jack also served as General Counsel at Soho Properties, a Manhattan-based real estate development and investment firm, with upwards of $750 million AUM, as well as at a global Japanese private equity fund, where he acquired significant real estate, securities and fund management expertise.

Jack has advised large bulge bracket investment banks and funds on 9-figure IPOs and M&A transactions. His expertise includes asset acquisitions and restructuring of portfolio investments, involving financial restructuring, joint ventures, divestitures and carve-out transactions – across varied industries, including real estate development, land banking, hospitality operations, hospitality technology, pharmaceuticals, consumer products and retail.

Vicente Torretti is an International Tax Consultant at Barbosa Legal. As a Chilean lawyer, with studies in the U.S., Vicente is experienced in international tax planning matters, including structuring and cross-border transactions, with special emphasis on Chilean individuals, families, and businesses investing in the U.S.

Andrés’ Hernández practice includes corporate law, international tax, and estate planning for domestic and foreign high net worth individual and, assisting with fully compliant structures, both domestically and abroad, and providing succession planning solutions considering tax challenges of global wealth.

Andrés has experience advising high net worth individuals and their families on cross-border wealth, investments, and estate planning concerns with particular focus on issues arising from civil law and common law application. He also advised international corporations in different aspects of taxation, and corporate law, including restructuring operations, and advising on tax efficient structures in domestic and foreign investment projects.
